Investigation Uncovers Alleged Misuse of Taxpayer Funds for Gun Control Advocacy

It’s no secret to anyone paying attention: government spending has long been shrouded in secrecy. But recent revelations have blown the lid off a disturbing trend—our hard-earned tax dollars are being misdirected to fund gun control projects. This blatant misuse of public funds not only betrays taxpayers but also undermines the very principles our nation was built on. For those of us who cherish our Constitutional rights, this is nothing short of an outrage.

The Unmasking of a Hidden Agenda

President Donald Trump, true to his promise to expose government malfeasance, has turned over the receipts on what appears to be a covert operation against the Second Amendment. For years, suspicions have simmered that federal funds were being redirected to support gun control advocates. Now, thanks to thorough investigations and the diligent work of researchers like Lee Williams, the truth is coming to light.

Williams’ deep dive into the labyrinthine world of federal grants has unearthed a complex scheme. Money from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has been laundered through multiple layers of “charities” and non-profit organizations. The beneficiaries? Major players in the gun control movement such as Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety and Giffords Courage to Fight Gun Violence.

These groups have quietly siphoned off public funds, leveraging a web of nonprofit intermediaries to disguise the money trail. Millions of dollars that originated from taxpayers have been funneled through left-wing grant-making organizations, ultimately ending up in the pockets of gun control advocacy groups.

One major example is the use of the leftist pass-through entity NEO Philanthropy, which received millions in government grants while simultaneously funneling millions to Everytown for Gun Safety. In 2022 alone, nearly $7.5 million made its way to Everytown through this funding pipeline. Fidelity Investments Charitable Gift Fund contributed another $6.75 million, reinforcing the financial backbone of Bloomberg’s anti-gun empire.

But it doesn’t stop there. The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence saw contributions skyrocket to over $12.8 million after taxpayer dollars were funneled through various “charitable” organizations. Groups like March for Our Lives and Sandy Hook Promise received funding originating from public sources, hidden behind layers of nonprofits to obscure the paper trail.

The ATF’s Role in the Backdoor Gun Grab

While millions of taxpayer dollars are flowing into gun control organizations, the ATF has been working hand-in-hand with these groups to implement policies that Congress never approved. With the Biden administration weaponizing federal agencies to push a radical anti-gun agenda, the ATF has turned to its rulemaking authority to bypass the legislative process entirely.

The ATF’s recent rule changes—targeting everything from pistol braces to privately made firearms—are a direct result of coordinated efforts between gun control groups and unelected bureaucrats. Groups like Moms Demand Action have been lobbying federal agencies behind closed doors, ensuring that their policy demands are enacted without a single vote from Congress.

This isn’t about public safety—it’s about power. By manipulating regulatory loopholes, the ATF is enforcing restrictions that would never survive public scrutiny, effectively turning an administrative agency into an unchecked gun control machine.

The Gun Control Industrial Complex

The corruption in the gun control movement runs deeper than just taxpayer-funded advocacy—it’s an entire industry designed to erode Second Amendment rights under the guise of “public safety.”

Take Moms Demand Action, a group that positions itself as a grassroots movement of “concerned moms.” In reality, it was founded by Shannon Watts, a former corporate public relations executive for Monsanto and WellPoint. Watts, a high-powered PR strategist, built Moms Demand Action not from community activism, but from a calculated political playbook designed to control the media narrative and pressure corporations into adopting anti-gun policies.

With backing from Michael Bloomberg, Moms Demand Action was absorbed into Everytown for Gun Safety, securing millions in funding and becoming a political machine that lobbies Congress, pushes radical policies, and trains activists to infiltrate public office.

And make no mistake—these groups are actively working to ensure that government funding continues flowing into their coffers. They use left-wing financial networks like ActBlue to raise money and pressure corporations, while simultaneously tapping into federal grants and taxpayer-funded research studies designed to justify their policy goals.

Political Hypocrisy and Double Standards

The irony is thick. While gun control groups parade themselves as grassroots advocates, they are quietly accepting public funds, pressuring regulatory agencies, and working hand-in-hand with lawmakers to suppress gun rights.

Yet, when these financial schemes are exposed, politicians like U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) and U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) cry foul, labeling transparency efforts as “unconstitutional interference.” They champion government oversight when it serves their cause but decry it when it threatens to reveal how taxpayer dollars are secretly fueling the anti-gun movement.

And let’s not forget that the Biden administration established a taxpayer-funded gun control office, staffed by a former Everytown lobbyist, to push anti-gun policies directly from the White House.

The Bigger Picture: Eroding Our Rights Piece by Piece

This isn’t just about wasted tax dollars. This is an orchestrated effort to dismantle the Second Amendment using federal funds, regulatory overreach, and coordinated media campaigns.

The ATF is acting as Congress, gun control groups are laundering taxpayer money, and anti-gun politicians are working to keep the whole system under wraps.

A recent court action even highlighted the lengths to which these efforts are being shielded from scrutiny. A federal judge temporarily blocked Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) from accessing government systems to trace these murky funds—an action spearheaded by 19 Democratic state attorneys general, led by New York State Attorney General Letitia James.

It’s Time to Pull the Rules

The fight is far from over. Every hidden dollar, every secret financial backchannel, and every unconstitutional power grab must be exposed. Americans deserve to know where their money is going and why unelected bureaucrats are being allowed to rewrite the law.

The Second Amendment is under attack—not just by politicians, but by a network of activist groups, corporations, and taxpayer-funded operations working in lockstep to strip away our rights.

It’s time to Pull the Rules and dismantle the gun control industrial complex before it’s too late.
